He currently works as the founder and creative director of Challenger Media House, where his journey across documentary filmmaking and deep into the heart of mythology has created a unique method for helping individuals and organizations express themself in ways which are both fundamentally honest and deeply resonant, creating modern myths which move us deeper into life.
I’ve gotta be honest.
Thirteen years ago, I had no idea what I was doing.
I was broke, living in a new place, working two minimum-wage jobs, and trying to figure out how to start a creative life.
My parents had just split, half my family was pretending I didn’t exist, and I was completely starting from scratch.
Then on Christmas morning I got a Canon t3i for Christmas, and that camera changed everything.
I knew instantly: this was the way forward. I didn’t know how, but I knew I had just found a dream.
The problem was that the deeper I got into the creative world, the more impossible that dream seemed. Everyone was talking about $50K cameras and $250K budgets while I was scraping together $250 for a cheap lens and trying to convince local clients to spend even $200 on a project.
I threw myself into learning everything I could about creative production - storytelling, lighting, gear, business, you name it.
I read every book I could find, took every workshop I could afford, and slowly started getting the hang of a new flavor of magic.
What started as no-budget church videos eventually turned into multi six-figure campaigns for brands like Apple, Bose, and Johnson & Johnson. I went from saving up for a $250 lens to owning tens of thousands of dollars of equipment and clearing millions of dollars in revenue.
I had found the doors into the world I aspired to, but more importantly I had built a way of working that gave me creative fulfillment and supported the life I actually want to live.
Now I’m sharing what I’ve learned.
I must be honest - I cannot fit it all into one workshop. BUT it is my goal to make these as valuable as I possibly can, to accelerate your journey into creative greatness.
This is the workshop I wish I had 10 years ago.
If you’re ready to work smarter and create more space for what really matters - let’s get better together.
